Chose Silka Seaview for a short stay and appreciated the location near the metro and bus stops, making travel easy. The free mobile phone for internet access was a great bonus. My room felt cozy even if it was small, organized efficiently around the bed. The bathroom had smart use of space, although the drainage could be better. Staff were helpful with finding taxis when needed. Breakfast options were decent but not extensive.

Rooms are smaller than expected with double beds resembling super singles, which can be cramped for taller visitors. the breakfast selection is quite limited, featuring only toast and poorly cooked eggs, with some juice options left unattended on the table. On the ground, the hotel's location is just off Temple Street and the MTR, but there's little in the way of scenic views, despite the misleading name. the scheduled shuttle times are not always reliable, so expect to walk to the MTR to avoid delays. The décor throughout feels quite dated, adding to a sense of overall rundown maintenance.

Comfortable room, convenient location, the shower was clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the friendly staff who spoke English well, making communication easy during my one-night stay.
